Welcome to Hello Tailor, the home of modern, at-home tailoring. We pride ourselves for always providing our customers with the highest standards of care. After booking an appointment online, one of our fitters will come to you, pin and mark your garments to your liking, and take the clothing to our atelier in NYC. Once garments are ready we will hand-deliver them tailored, steamed and ready to wear. A seamless, first-class experience that has helped us build long-lasting relationships with all our customers.

Our ethos
The fashion industry is the second most polluting industry in the world. Every year 13 million tons of clothing and footwear end up in landfills. On average, each person living in the U.S. throws out 81 pounds of textile waste per year. Alterations, tailoring, and mending extend the lifespan of garments, directly reducing 86% of textile waste. This is why at Hello Tailor we are firm believers in mindful, circular, and slow fashion.
We are committed to help eliminate the increasing percent of material waste going into landfills each year by collaborating with our customers. Instead of throwing out your damaged or unworn garments, you can come to us and we will make the proper fixes to make them wearable again, or donate them to charity. Our hope is that these alternative options will help contribute to providing a more sustainable environment.
