Happy Fall!
As a friend of mine just said, Halloween is this weekend, Thanksgiving is next week and a few days later it’s Christmas. We’re already getting gift lists in our emails. Time is moving so fast and we are all so crazy busy, but here’s a few things we’re watching and loving. Happy Fall everyone!
I loved this book. If you like Circe by Madeline Miller, you would love this. It’s historical fiction based on a true story of a 16th century French Noblewoman. It’s also great on Audible for those who do.
It was a little hard to get into the first episode, but when it gets going you can’t stop. All the back stories you never knew. It’s incredible.
Clementine Brass Place Card Set, SchoolHouse
Cute and practical addition to your table setting for any occasion. Perfect for all of the upcoming Holiday events.
Stretch Nappa Leather Booties, Prada
These boots are flattering on everyone. The butter leather is so soft and comfortable from the first wear.
I’ve always been a huge Amy fan. She just seems so fun and kind and quick. Even though I really don’t love podcasts, I love this one because it’s fun.
It Girl, The Life and Legacy of Jane Birkin
A good friend gave me this book and I loved it. Having lived in Paris for years I saw Jane and Serge for years on every talk show and concert, I assumed I knew all there was to know about her. It’s a very touching portrait of someone who tried to be a great mother and artist. I’m thrilled people will get to know her as someone that’s more than a Hermes bag or a Pinterest page. I don’t think her music or movies will ever be mainstream but her legacy will be better known.
Such an easy belt to change up outfits and add some interest and drama.
I’m upgrading my hair towel with this.
If you love butter, you will love this very chic container to keep your butter in. Like the French, keep your butter on the counter and it will stay fresh and soft.
The Sculpt Arm Compound, U Beauty
The before and after shots of this cream look amazing so I’m willing to give it a shot. I already really love their Face Compound cream.
I tried a Ricari lymphatic drainage treatment and it was such a treat. It just goes to show what is hiding in small corners we know nothing about. The location downtown on Water Street seems inconsequential until you go up to the 23th floor and realize the whole floor has different beauty and spa services. Truly feels like a hidden gem. Walking out on clouds and wandering around the Tin building and South Seaport. The area is filled with good ideas and gifts.
