Riding out Summer
Two of my favorite photographers have new books coming out.
I’ve preordered both and couldn’t be more excited.
Pamela Hanson photographs women as no one else. Everyone looks like the best version of themselves in her photographs.
Sally Mann’s book is more prose and photographs. Not only is she one of my favorite photographers, she is a brilliant writer and observer of life. Her memoir, Hold Still, is one of the best.
Read the book and can’t wait for the movie with Kiera Knightley.
Trying new things sometimes leads to total fails. Such as the spicy corn soup from last month’s newsletter I was so excited to try. Such is life. We just have to move on.
I have it on great authority this peach cobbler is delicious and a huge hit. Sometimes we must try something new that’s a sure thing.
