Thank Goodness for September

I know some people are sad summer’s over, but personally, I’m thrilled. September is one of my favorite months.

Here’s something you might not know about me: I make all my new years resolutions in September. Four months seems like enough time for any new resolution to stick and your imagination can run wild. With the longer days and the beautiful light everything just seems possible.

With all this enthusiasm in mind, we are excited to announce our new series, In Your Closet.

Over the last two years we have worked with clients editing, fitting and discussing their wardrobes. We have spent so much time in others’ closets, and honestly, we love it . We love getting to know how you organize your closet, how you plan your outfits, and what niche secrets your closets can share. Each month, In Your Closet, will “reveal” a new closet— starting with mine.

September is also the perfect time to reevaluate everything in your closet. What needs work, what’s missing a button, why does something have a giant stain, and why is it still hanging in your closet. Are you missing some key pieces or do you need to edit some areas? If you need some help with assessing your wardrobe, drop us a line.

Another project we are working on is designing small beautiful things our closets’ may be missing… find a sneak peek for what’s coming at the end this email, and stay tuned for more.

Otherwise enjoy this beautiful weather, dream big, and of course let us know if we can be of any assistance.

I know these days our emails are stuffed with endless new options to buy, buy, buy. Personally, I feel overwhelmed by the insistence and underwhelmed by the options. But that said, here’s a small list of what I’m actually loving.

Super Moves Tight Leggings, Left on Friday

With resolutions come working out . Even if it’s a video or just walking the park. Nothing is more comfortable than these leggings. There’s honestly some magic thread in this that gives you energy. They’re so comfortable and energizing I just ordered their bathing suit to try.

Hair Crimper, TYMO

We saw a friend with beautifully crimped hair and decided we had to get it. Next thing you know, we have crimped our hair endless times. It’s easy and a little different.

Alice Chocolates

I know someone who tried these as they were going through a very stressful and public situation and it worked like a dream.

The Hudson, DeMellier

I love this bag. I didn’t know this brand but love so many of their styles and colors.

AD at Home

I can’t wait for this big beautiful book. Love AD and now love all the beautiful stories together.

Sift: The Elements of Great Baking

Truly a life changing book for non bakers. There’s at least 20 recipes I want to try right now. Also really explains the process of baking.

The Roses

Just saw the trailer for this movie and could not stop laughing. Immediately added it to my watch list. My good friend Dorothy Barrick was the food stylist on this movie.

Sneak Peek…

Here’s a small glimpse into one of our many projects in the works. Beautiful faux fur collars that snap on and add a little extra to any outfit. You can wear them with sweaters or coats, and they come in 4 colors and 2 styles.
